The Real Estate Agents Disciplinary Tribunal, which is separate to the REA and part of the Ministry of Justice hears and decides cases against real estate agents where an REA complaints assessment committee has laid charges of misconduct. The Tribunal also hears appeals that have been made against committee decisions or the authority’s decision not to give an individual or a company a real estate licence.
